How the experience is built
Core content is semantic HTML. Navigation, constellation domains, knowledge paths, Archive filters, Observatory controls, and the inquiry form are available by keyboard and touch. Visual diagrams include text representations, important meaning does not depend on color alone, and focus remains visible.
Motion and WebGL
The experience respects your reduced-motion preference. Cinematic canvas and scroll effects are progressive layers; the narrative and controls remain available without WebGL. Expensive atmosphere is reduced on touch devices and paused when it is not serving the visible experience.
Testing
The project uses automated accessibility checks, keyboard-focused interaction tests, reflow and horizontal-overflow assertions, reduced-motion tests, and browser coverage through Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. Automated checks are supplemented with manual keyboard, zoom, contrast, and screen-reader-oriented review.
Known limitations
Complex visual relationships are simplified into linear text sequences on narrow screens and for assistive technology. This is intentional, but we continue to review whether the text alternatives carry the same meaning as the visual systems. Native browser and operating-system differences may also affect animation and focus presentation.
